ALMCAN Manufacturing was established in 1986. ALMCAN was purchased by Southgate Manufacturing Inc. in August 2013.

In 2016 Southgate Manufacturing Inc. began manufacturing roof trusses. With the capabilities to manufacture Residential, Commercial and Agricultural roof truss up to 100' spans and deliver anywhere in Ontario.
